The Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Abd Al-Hussein Al-Moussawi congratulated the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in the United Kingdom, Prof. Dr. Qusay Al-Ahmadi on winning the "Education Attaché of the Year" award for the Middle East for 2026, granted by the prestigious British "Embassy" Foundation.
Dr. Abd Al-Hussein Al-Moussawi reviewed that this high honor recognizes Dr. Al-Ahmadi's distinguished contributions and exceptional efforts in promoting academic diplomacy and activating cultural activity.
The Miniter of Higher Education highlighted that this wining is considered a historic and unprecedented achievement, as this award is being granted to an Arab cultural attaché for the first time in its history.
Dr. Abd Al-Hussein Al-Moussawi affirmed that this international achievement is a strong testament to the competence of Iraqi personnel and their ability to excel in international forums, as well as reviewing that Iraq's academic presence is now strongly felt on the global stage.
The Minister concluded his congratulations by expressing his pride in this distinction, wishing the Cultural Attaché and Dr. Al-Ahmadi continued success, and achievements that contribute to the advancement of education and the development of academic cooperation in Iraq.
