The Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Abd Al-Hussein Al-Mussawi reviewed that “With confident steps towards the future, we today approved the establishment of (Artificial Intelligence Engineering Clubs) in our universities, following the creation of ten new AI colleges, this is a new pillar for empowering our youth in shaping the digital future”.

Dr. Al-Mussawi Congratulated the Universities of Karbala, Babylon, Southern Technical University, Al-Farabi University, and Al-Hussain University College. 

His Excellency said that “We await the completion of requirements at the Universities of Thi-Qar, Sumer, Shatrah, and Al-Ayen Iraqi University to join this initiative.

Dr. Al-Mussawi added that “We extend our sincere appreciation to the Universities of Baghdad and Technology for their pioneering role and for presenting an inspiring academic model”.

His Excellency demonstrated that building national digital competencies is our most valuable investment for strengthening Iraq's position on the global knowledge economy map.
