The Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Scientific Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Dhahd confirmed that the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdul Hussein Al-Moussawi approved restricting the training of students from private universities, colleges, and institutes to licensed healthcare institutions.

Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Dhahd highlighted that fulfilling this condition is a requirement for future appointments within the Ministry of Health. 

The Deputy demonstrated that the decision aims to ensure the quality of clinical training and the adherence of healthcare institutions to academic and professional accreditation standards.

Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Dhahd commended the level of coordination and cooperation with the Ministry of Health, as well as emphasizing that this step will contribute to unify the practical training environment and rais the efficiency of graduates from private medical and health education programs, which will positively impact the level of healthcare services provided to citizens.
