During the meeting chaired by the Deputy for Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Dhahd reviewed several issues on its agenda, including scientific and administrative reports submitted by private educational institutions, as well as reviewing academic performance and quality indicators in higher education, aiming to improve the university environment and enhance the quality of educational outcomes.

Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Dhahd emphasized the importance of keeping pace with the rapid changes in knowledge within the academic environment and enhancing the quality of education according to the approved educational policy. 

The Deputy said to the necessity of integrating institutional efforts to achieve the goals of higher education and develop its academic and research mechanisms.

Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Dhahd added that the ministry prioritizes the development of private education as a key partner in the higher education system by supporting rigorous academic programs and providing a learning environment capable of meeting development requirements and labor market needs.

It is significant to mention, the Deputy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Scientific Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Dhahd inaugurated the Advanced Research and Innovation Laboratory and the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory for Applied Research at Al-Maaref University.
