During a meeting with the Head and members of the Parliamentary Higher Education Committee, Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Abd Al-Hussain Al-Moussawi reviewed several topics related to developing the educational environment in Iraqi universities to keep pace with modern digital and developmental transformations, enhance institutional integration and joint coordination between the executive and legislative branches, and support the Ministry’s academic vision..

Dr. Abd Al-Hussain Al-Moussawi said that the meeting includes focusing on digital transformation, innovation, integrating artificial intelligence and digital education into curricula and educational institutions, as well as providing necessary support for teaching and research staff and meeting the requirements of sustainable development.

His Excellency affirmed that the Ministry is committed to implement its ambitious programs to improve the global ranking of Iraqi universities. 

Dr. Abd Al-Hussain Al-Moussawi added commended the Parliamentary Committee's active oversight and legislative role in overcoming obstacles and supporting the educational process.

For their part, the Chairman and members of the Parliamentary Education Committee expressed their full support for the reform and development steps being taken by the Ministry, emphasizing the importance of continuing these periodic meetings to achieve a qualitative leap in the outcomes of Higher Education to serve the scientific progress in Iraq.
