Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Adnan Ibrahim and a member of the Supreme National Population Committee, participated in the World Population Day celebration organized by the Ministry of Planning entitled "Iraqi Youth: Wealth, Opportunity, and Investment."

The celebration was held under the patronage of the Minister of Finance (Acting Minister of Planning), Mr. Faleh Sari, in cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Ministry of Planning of the Kurdistan Regional Government.

The celebration addressed the most prominent challenges and opportunities related to Iraq's demographic structure, highlighted the role of youth in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, and demonstrated national programs and initiatives aimed at empowering youth and enhancing their participation in the development process.
