His Excellency, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Abd Al-Hussein Al-Moussawi, inaugurated a charity market organized by the Women's Affairs Department as part of its support for initiatives aimed at empowering women and encouraging productive and creative projects.

During his tour of the market, the Minister viewed the diverse range of exhibits, which included handicrafts, heritage products, and artistic works, as well as several small projects showcasing the skills and creativity of the participants in various fields.

During the inaugurating the charity market, the Minister emphasized the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's commitment to support activities that enhance the role of women and empower them economically and socially. 

Dr. Abd Al-Hussein Al-Moussawi commended the Women's Affairs Department for organizing these distinguished events.

For her part, Director of the Women's Affairs Department, Dr. Nada Al-Abadi reviewed that the charity market is part of the department's programs aimed at supporting women's capabilities and implementing the National Strategy for Iraqi Women. 

Dr. Nada Al-Abadi said that the charity market also provides an opportunity to showcase local products and promote a culture of entrepreneurship, aligning with the Ministry's focus on supporting sustainable development.
