During a meeting with the Deputy Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Othman Al-Juhayshi, His Excellency the Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Abd Al-Hussein Al-Moussawi reviewed ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Higher Education and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.

Higher Education highlighted that the two sides demonstrated mechanisms for institutional integration to support the Ministry's efforts in developing the higher education and scientific research sector and serving the community in line with national development priorities.

The Ministry added that both sides emphasized the importance of unifying efforts and exchanging expertise among government institutions to raise the level of institutional performance and enhance the efficiency of implementing strategic programs and projects, as well as supporting initiatives to develop the educational and research environment according to the government's directions towards achieving sustainable development and improving the quality of services provided to citizens.
