The College of Education for Pure Sciences at Wasit University discussed a master's thesis on the topic of induced topology using graphs of group relations and its applications by the postgraduate student, Mr. Haider Abd Al-Sada Abdullah.
The thesis aimed at building an integrated mathematical framework linking group theory, graph theory, and topology by generating induced topologies based on algebraic relation between group elements.
The thesis demonstrated a clear relation between the number of topologies and the physical properties of compounds, such as boiling point and this confirms that induced topology not only reflects mathematical structure but also extends to explain real-world properties in chemical systems, represent a significant contribution to bridge mathematics and scientific applications.
The thesis highlighted a strong correlation between algebraic structure and topological structure, where the nature of the algebraic relation directly influences the type of topology resulting, as well as the results demonstrated a strong statistical correlation between the number of topological structures and topological indices, with the Wiener index being the most effective in representing this relation.
