A joint research team in Al-Mustansiriyah and Telafer Universities obtained a patent on designing a device to test the life of the prosthetics in light of exposing to different conditions. The patent, in which granted by the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control Unit of the Ministry of Planning, aimed at facilitating the selection of good quality of the prosthetics depending on the operating life of the prosthetic that will reduce the need to maintenance The patent highlighted the idea of the invention that depends on the force of the Earth's alternate reaction during walking and using a system that mimics the way of human walk generates an alternate pressure on the prosthetics.
