During a meeting with the Governor of Najaf, Mr. Youssef Kanawi Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Adnan Ibrahim Al-Jumaili reviewed ways to support Higher Education’s institutions in the province and address their needs and infrastructure development requirements.

Prof. Dr. Adnan Ibrahim Al-Jumaili emphasized the importance of
integrated efforts between the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific
Research and the Najaf Governorate to support universities and enable them to
complete their infrastructure and educational facilities.

The Deputy said that the Ministry’s readiness to provide the necessary
support to Jaber Ibn Hayyan University of Medical Sciences, particularly in
establishing its facilities and infrastructure, should the required land be
allocated.

Prof. Dr. Adnan Ibrahim Al-Jumaili expressed his gratitude to the Governor of Najaf for the province’s support of higher education institutions and postgraduate degree holders. Both parties agreed to maintain communication and coordination and to follow up on the implementation of these initiatives to serve the educational process in the province.
For his part, the Governor of Najaf, Mr. Youssef Kanawi affirmed the province’s commitment to take practical steps to allocate land plots to employees of higher education institutions in the province.
Mr. Youssef Kanawi highlighted that the Al-Kafa’at residential complex project, which the province intends to implement through investment, offering convenient installment payment options for holders of advanced degrees.
The Governor of Najaf also expressed the province’s readiness to
allocate the necessary land to Jaber Ibn Hayyan University of Medical Sciences,
supporting its expansion plans and the completion of its infrastructure
requirements.
