His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Pro. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani received the Head of the Martyrs Foundation, Dr. Abdul-Ilah Al-Naili.

Pro. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani reviewed avenues for joint cooperation regarding the files of martyrs' families, as well as mechanisms to improve procedures related to their entitlements within higher education institutions.

His Excellency emphasized that supporting the families of martyrs and ensuring they receive their educational rights is both a national and institutional responsibility, grounded in existing legislation.

Pro. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani underscored the importance of synergy between the Ministry along with its affiliated universities and the Martyrs Foundation to ensure the proper application of legal frameworks for admission into undergraduate and postgraduate programs, the diligent follow-up of relevant cases, and the provision of opportunities that enable this group to realize their academic aspirations.

For his part, Dr. Abdul-Ilah Al-Naili expressed his appreciation for the support provided by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Iraqi universities to the families of martyrs.

Dr. Abdul-Ilah Al-Naili stressed the importance of continued coordination and the development of joint working mechanisms to safeguard their rights and enhance their opportunities for university education.
