His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani met the Minister of Education, Mr. Abdul Karim Abtan, who extended his congratulations on his assuming office.

Prof. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani emphasized the importance of strengthening coordination and cooperation between the two Ministries, as well as integrating efforts to develop the educational system and enhance institutional performance to improve the quality of education and the efficiency of its outcomes.

His Excellency further stressed the necessity of continued joint work and the exchange of expertise to support the progress of education in Iraq.

For his part, the Minister of Education expressed his best wishes to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for success in carrying out his duties and responsibilities, underscoring the importance of broadening the scope of coordination and cooperation between the two Ministries.

The two sides reviewed mechanisms to foster integration between the ministries, given the close interconnection between the various stages of the educational system to to enhance the quality of educational outcomes and establish a foundation for integrated planning to advance the educational trajectory.

It is significant to mention that the meeting was attended by several deputy Ministers and advisors from the Ministry of Education.
