The official handover ceremony for the Ministerial portfolio took place at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with Prof. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani formally assuming the position.

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research emphasized his commitment to maintain coordination across the Ministry’s various bodies and universities, as well as ensuring the smooth continuity of operations, the proper delegation of responsibilities and tasks according to established protocols, and the ongoing implementation of programs and plans aimed at advancing Higher Education and Scientific Research.

His Excellency highlighted the importance of continuing to work in alignment with the Ministry’s defined priorities, while leveraging the progress already achieved in enhancing both academic and administrative performance.

Prof. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Abd Al-Hussein Al-Musawi for his efforts during his tenure in managing the Ministry, acknowledging his dedication to overseeing its affairs.

His Excellency underscored the significance of sustaining institutional work to further the progress of higher education and scientific research.

For his part, Dr. Abd Al-Hussein Al-Musawi extended his best wishes to Prof. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani for success in his new role, expressing his hope that he would continue to advance the Ministry and its universities, and achieve their scientific and academic objectives.
