His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani received the Chair and members of the Parliamentary Education Committee, who extended their congratulations on his assumption of office.

Prof. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani emphasized the importance of supporting scientific research, enhancing educational outcomes, and fostering values ​​of teamwork and national belonging, all of which strengthen the role of universities in human development and societal progress.

His Excellency underscored the necessity of bolstering cooperation with the Parliamentary Education Committee regarding regulations for private higher education, ensuring alignment with established legal frameworks and academic standards.

Prof. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani further reviewed that the Ministry will take into account the specific circumstances of each governorate when distributing university institutions and educational opportunities to ensure equitable access to education, strengthen national unity, and uphold the principle of equal opportunity for all members of Iraqi society.
