His Excellency, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani met the head of the State of Law parliamentary bloc, Dr. Ahmed Al-Mubarqa, who extended his congratulations on the occasion of his assuming the duties of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Prof. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani emphasized the importance of providing legislative support to the higher education sector to keep pace with its academic and scientific advancements. 

His Excellency reviewed that cooperation with the Council of Representatives serves as a vital pillar in establishing the legal frameworks necessary to support university operations, develop pathways for education and scientific research, and address the requirements inherent to the work of academic institutions.

For his part, Dr. Ahmed Al-Mubarqa expressed his support for the efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, underscoring the importance of coordination between the Council of Representatives and the Ministry to advance legislation that contributes to the development of the sector and strengthens the capabilities of Iraqi universities.
