His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani met with the presidents of Al-Iraqia University, the University of Babylon, and Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University. 

Prof. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani emphasized the importance of integrating efforts between the Ministry and the universities, advocating for a developmental vision rooted in educational quality, academic rigor, and the enhancement of scientific and research outcomes all in alignment with the requirements of national development, societal needs, and the labor market.

His Excellency highlighted the necessity of fostering a university environment that encourages creativity and innovation, developing academic programs and specializations, and expanding scientific cooperation among universities. 

Prof. Dr. Haider Bahaa Al-Hasani also highlighted the importance of embedding quality standards and elevating the performance of educational institutions to strengthen the standing of Iraqi universities and their role in building human capital.

For their part, the university presidents affirmed the importance of continued coordination and cooperation with the Ministry, as well as joint efforts to address the needs of academic institutions and support their ongoing academic and scientific endeavors.

They university presidents extended their congratulations to the Minister on his appointment, wishing him success in fulfilling his responsibilities and leading the development of higher education and scientific research in Iraq.
