College of Management and Economics, University of Babylon conducted a study on modern methods used in the econometrics.
The study, in which a number of students and faculty members participated, reviewed that all the sciences witnessed rapid developments but the econometrics witnessed very rapid developments in light of being used in the developed countries in determining the mechanisms of applying economic policies and desired outcomes of these policies as well as predicting the various crises affecting the state economy.
