A research team in the University of Diyala obtained a patent on evaluating the effectiveness of Promectine Ivermectin 1% in treating of eye cancer in cattle.
The patent, in which granted by the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control Unit of the Ministry of Planning, included using of Ivermectin in the treatment of third eyelid cancer of cows besides the animals responded to treatment and the tumor was completely cured.
