The College of Science, Mustansiriyah University discussed a Ph.D. thesis on ways to improve operating system security through the development of enhanced hybrid secure sharing algorithms by the postgraduate student, Ms. Maha Ali Hussein.

The thesis aimed at designing an advanced intrusion detection system that integrates real-time system activity monitoring and network traffic analysis, utilizing hybrid deep learning techniques and achieving early threat detection, increases analytical accuracy, and reduces false alarm rates.

The thesis included developing a unified system that integrates detection outputs from multiple sources, supported by automated defensive response mechanisms, practical experiments were conducted using real-world data to evaluate the efficiency of the proposed system.

The thesis that the system achieved a high level of detection accuracy, reaching approximately 99%, and effectively distinguished between normal activities and cyberattacks, as well as demonstrating the system's ability to efficiently handle both known and unknown threats within modern operating system environments.
