College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Al-Qadisiyah held a symposium on the transmitted diseases between birds and humans. The symposium, in which a number of faculty members participated, reviewed the transmitted diseases between birds and humans, the main causes of these diseases and methods of prevention. The symposium highlighted the epidemiology of these diseases in terms of steps that expose poultry breeders, pet birds and veterinarians to infection.
