A research team in the University of Karbala designed and implemented a special search engine to block and disable terrorist websites in order to counter e-terrorism and reduce its impacts.
The project aimed at designing and implementing a search engine against terrorist websites, after obtaining the results of the research the terrorists websites will be blocked in order to preserve the impact the community’s ideas from the electronic terrorism, as well as the system works on the Linux operating environment.
The project designed to reduce the impact of terrorist gangs that exploit modern means of communication and possess hundreds of websites, and thus terrorism will achieve a set of goals, including young people recruitment to fight and access to fund and spread terror and panic among people.
