Symposium at the University of Kirkuk organized a symposium on Tuberculosis.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, included identifying the tuberculosis, infection, ways of transmission and treatment and statistics of spreading of the disease in a number of areas of Iraq, as well as health programs to combat the disease and how to deal with various cases.
The symposium aimed at identifying the pathogenic bacteria that can be cured after treatment, even though it is a contagious disease and continuing treatment for six months.
