College of Education for Women, University of Kufa organized a symposium on water pollution.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, aimed at reviewing the modern methods to rationalize of water consumption and modern scientific methods for integrated environmental management of water resources.
The symposium included modern technological methods of treating heavy and industrial water and how to benefit from it, as well as the obstacles that should be addressed of water waste and how to reduce it.
The symposium reviewed reasons for the leakage of chemicals materials such as pesticides, factory waste, radioactive materials, oil materials, water waste, waste and many other pollutants.
