University of Tikrit organized a workshop on the dangers of ballistics and unexploded explosives.
The workshop, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, included delivering a number of lectures on the risks of the mines and unexploded explosives and their negative impact in environment.
The workshop recommended raising awareness of the dangers of explosives, the procedures to be followed in dealing with foreign objects and contact with specialized centers to remove dangerous explosives, as well as providing artificial prosthetics for injured people.
