College of Science, University of Al-Mustansiriyah organized a symposium on the manifestations of desertification in the sedimentary plain of Iraq.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, included delivering a lecture on the phenomenon of desertification, it’s types, reasons of occurrence and the negative effects of this phenomenon, especially on agriculture and the elimination methods.
