A master's dissertation was discussed in the College of Engineering, University of Al-Mustansiriyah on developing a numerical model to simulate the flexible loading pads and estimate their service life by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Jihan Falah Ismail. The dissertation aimed at estimating the service life of the flexible loading pad by studying its performance under lateral and axial forces, as well as ABAQUS and Fe -safe programs were used to simulate the behavior of the loading pad under the pressure and shear stresses and to estimate fatigue life. The dissertation reviewed the applied loads of small duration (high frequency) that doubled the fatigue life compared to the low frequency of the same applied load.
