A faculty member in the College of Health and Medical Technology, Middle Technical University published a research in the American Naturegentic Journal on the mycobacterium tuberculosis and the globally restricted sub genealogy.

The study aimed at studying the most common TB-causing strain, which is composed of the 4 globally distributed and geographically defined sub-ratios.

The research reviewed the sub-types of bacteria are capable of infecting a specific human group only, while globally spread to have a wider range of human as hosts, so the generality and specificity of TB types are different according to the environment.
