College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics, Al-Karkh University for Science organized a symposium on the applications of remote sensing and GIS.
The symposium, in which a number of academics and specialists participated, included two axes, the first was on remote sensing in the maritime field and the second was on the applications of GIS in the field of digital maps.
The symposium aimed at building a sophisticated information network between the university and remote sensing experts to contribute in serving digital and information system in Iraq, researching modern methods of remote sensing science and how implementing it effectively in marine, military and scientific applications.
