A master's dissertation was discussed in the College of Agriculture, University of Anbar on implementing the linear programming method in planning the optimal production of the factories of the General Company for Food Products - Iraq for 2016 and 2017 by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Marwa Najah. The dissertation reviewed how to reduce waste in using the available productive resources by using the linear programming method and then using the surplus of these resources to raise the level of production and provide the products that citizens need. The dissertation aimed at preparing a production plan in an accurate scientific manner, as this plan achieves the largest pure income via the optimal utilization of available economic resources, whether related to the productive capacities of machines, businesses or raw materials that can be obtained. The dissertation demonstrated the optimal production plans for the general company and the right mix of production that will achieve the maximum economic return for it.
