College of Medicine, University of Al-Mustansiriyah organized a symposium on using radioisotopes in nuclear medicine.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, reviewed the scientific implementations of radioisotopes in the field of nuclear medicine and providing basic physical information on using of radioisotopes in nuclear diagnostic and medical treatment techniques.
The symposium also reviewed the implementations of cobalt and its applications, as well as using of iodine 131 and 123 in diagnosing and treating of thyroid diseases.
