College of Medicine, University of Karbala organized a symposium on implementing modern scientific techniques in treating infertility and IVF.

The symposium, in which a number of doctors, specialists and researchers participated, aimed at reviewing the latest scientific products in the developed countries and improving the level of medical services in treating infertility, late of procreation, techniques of modern reproduction and the relation of infertility to some diseases and wrong behaviors.

The symposium reviewed the reasons behind delaying of procreation, helping in having babies, treating infertility, developing of scientific results, improving pregnancy rate in the tube child, microscopic injection and taking sample as well as reviewing the methods of activating the ovaries which are used in treating of infertility and procreation techniques and the effects associated with this method of treating women procreation.

The symposium recommended the necessity of adhering to diagnostic tests and treatments, visiting infertility treatment centers, conducting some necessary tests for women and men, pre-marital tests and avoiding sports steroids.
