Two researchers in the College of Physical Education and Mathematical Sciences, University of Diyala obtained a patent on designing an electronic device to measure the speed of the motor response (simple and complex) for handball goalkeepers.
The patent, in which granted by the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control Unit of the Ministry of Planning, provided numerical values for trainers to review the levels of goalkeepers and develop training curricula, as well as evaluating of the training curricula in order to reduce weaknesses of goalkeepers handball.
