College of Medicine, University of Kirkuk delivered a lecture on varicose veins.
The lecture, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, reviewed the concept of the disease which resulted from the expansion of blood veins due to the weakness of small valves in the leg which will prevent returning blood down after pumping in the veins towards the heart.
The lecture recommended treating the disease via surgery or LASER in order to control and reduce the varicose veins.
