Basra University of Oil and Gas organized a training course on occupational safety supervisor at the oil work sites.
The course, in which a number of specialists and students participated, aimed at identifying the role of the supervisor of occupational safety in oil workplaces via the concept of work planning, organization, guidance, supervision, monitoring and performance measurement, as well as addressing the risks at the workplace.
The course reviewed the most important regulations related to the safety requirements and management in the oil facilities.
