College of Oil and Gas Engineering, Basra University of Oil and Gas reviewed with the delegation of the U.S. Halliburton Energy Services Company promoting joint academic cooperation, Dean of the College, Dr. Firas Abd Al-Rasol Al-Badran said.
Dr. Al-Badran added that the college is keen on opening the cooperation horizons with the international oil companies in order to obtain skillful training field for the university students in different oil fields and to provide software and modern techniques to be implemented in the curriculum of the university in the future.
For their part, the delegation praised the advanced academic level of the students and they said that the company will select a number of the top students in order to employee them in the company.
