College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Diyala held a symposium on genotyping via using sequence analysis. The symposium reviewed the pathogens according to several criteria, the most important of which are methods of sample collection, determination of the phenotypic diagnosis under the microscope, colony characteristics, and sensitivity testing to antibiotics. The symposium highlighted genotyping and its types represented by the polymerase chain reaction, random polymorphic DNA amplification and the multi-site sequence writing interaction.
