During a meeting with the Syrian ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Sattam Jadaan Al-Dandah, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabeel Kadim Abid Al-Sahib reviewed developing scientific relations between the two countries according to an academic program that meets the visions that serve the desired scientific goals of both sides in terms of pre and postgraduate studies, joint supervision, conferences and research workshops and granting scholarships. For his part, Mr. Al-Dandah appreciated the response of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and its vision of developing the horizon of the academic cooperation between Iraq and Syria and achieving the aspirations of the universities of the two countries. Mr. Al-Dandah expressed the Syrian Ministry of Education’s readiness on developing the academic cooperation between the two countries and forming the ways of understanding between Iraqi and Syrian universities.
