During a meeting with the Tunisian ambassador to Baghdad, Mr. Ridha Zaqedan, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabeel Kadim Abid Al-Sahib called on holding an Arab conference to review educational strategies in the post-pandemic era. His Excellency reviewed the two sides’ readiness on formulating a framework for joint action in the field of higher education and scientific research, which represents a vital field for developing cooperation relations between Iraq and Tunisia. Dr. Abid Al-Sahib expressed the Iraqi universities’ keenness on exchanging scholarships with their Tunisian counterparts, research fellowships, joint supervision of postgraduate students, holding scientific conferences and training workshops, providing conditions for scientific review of post-Corona education strategies and benefiting from its indicators. For his part, Mr. Zaqedan appreciated the Iraqi Higher Education and its institutions’ keenness on developing the horizon of joint cooperation via the proposed work programs that enhance the fields of scientific understanding between the academic institutions of the two countries.
