In cooperation with the League of Arab States and the United Nations Bodies operating in the Arab region and During a participation in the Arab Forum for Sustainable Development for 2021 by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabeel Kadim Abid Al-Sahib said that the assertion that Iraq's vision to achieve the goals of sustainable development is based on the foundations of the tripartite partnership among the State, the private sector and civil society, the empowerment of all stakeholders to Participate in planning, implementation and control processes and play an appropriate role according to their capabilities in those goals. Dr. Abid Al-Sahib added that the sustainable development goals from the perspective of the Ministry included a number of strategic objectives, such as quality education, providing learning opportunities, eradicating poverty, developing university programs to reduce the phenomenon, achieve food security and promoting sustainable agriculture, industry, innovation and infrastructure.
