College of Engineering, University of Kirkuk organized a workshop on implementing quality standards in the university laboratories according to international standards.
The workshop aimed at reviewing methods of adopting accreditation in the laboratories according to the international standards, implementing the administrative and technical quality management system and setting policy, goals and future visions for university laboratories.
The workshop reviewed the importance of the university labs and the mechanisms of adopting quality in laboratories.
The workshop recommended establishing an organizational and administrative structure for the university laboratory, clarifying job description for all employees, reviewing the necessary equipment, and disruption responsibilities and authorities to create an easy process to achieve goals of the laboratories.
