College of Agriculture, University of Missan delivered a lecture on the classification of plant taxonomy within the original Plant Taxonomy, the Faculty Member in the College, Mr. Karrar Akram Kamel. The lecture demonstrated classification of plants and their lineages via presenting some scientific sources in the classification of plant taxonomy and the types of available plant encyclopedias and how they are used by the researchers for the purpose of helping them in diagnosing unknown plants. The lecture highlighted that the diagnostic process is the first goals and steps of the specialist in plant taxonomy, followed by the steps of the scientific classification and nomenclature of plants not previously diagnosed and proven by the Iraqi Botanical Encyclopedia.
