College of Engineering, University of Misan organized a workshop on the use of concrete mix in roads. The workshop reviewed analytical study of high-resistance concrete columns that contain steel fibers and examining the degree of their resistance to conditions and weather factors. The workshop demonstrated the ability of the concrete mixture to enhance the ability of the columns to resist the impact loads and to increase ductility and durability, as well as using of iron fibers in the concrete mixture for reinforcement.
