A Ph.D. thesis was discussed in the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, University of Mosul on neuro-fuzzy systems via using unconstrained optimization techniques by the postgraduate student, Mr. Hisham Muhammad Khedir. The thesis reviewed developing a number of conjugated gradient algorithms, developing a number of steep regression algorithms for solving nonlinear fuzzy optimization problems, solving nonlinear fuzzy equations and using them in fuzzy neural systems to classify data.
