Department of Nursing Technologies, Technical Institute – Baquba, Middle Technical University held a course on the types and methods of diagnosing parasites and their pathological effects. The course reviewed parasites, their types, methods, tools, dyes and reagents used in the diagnosis of parasites, as well as the most important intestinal parasites that cause acute intestinal inflammation, methods of prevention and treatment and parasites that cause skin diseases. The course highlighted the methods of preparing the sample and diagnosing the parasite, as well as reviewing the infectious phase of the parasite that causes the disease to transmit.
