Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University held 2nd conference for quality assurance and academic accreditation entitled quality assurance, academic accreditation and sustainability and the way towards globalization in technical education, Director of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation, Dr. Salah Al-Fatlawi said. Dr. Al-Fatlawi added that the conference reviewed the importance of the technical education sector, the need to link it with the labor market and the importance of relying on quality standards to reach reliability, which represents an important goal for educational institutions. Dr. Al-Fatlawi highlighted that the conference demonstrated working papers by technical universities and foreign universities on quality and reliability in technical education and sustainability in Higher Education’s institutions in light of the current challenges. For his part, President of the University Dr. Mudhafar Al-Zuhairi said that the conference comes in the context of practically embodying the concepts of quality by adopting a clear-cut strategy in this direction. It is worth mentioning that the conference was attended by and a number of presidents of public and private universities and colleges.
