The faculty members in the College of Media, Al- Iraqia University, Dr. Yusra Khaled Ibrahim and Al-Israa University College, Dr. Walaa Muhammad Al-Rubaie published a joint book on the psychological features of cyberspace and an analytical vision in digital media. The joint book reviewed the great importance of the social media in digital media in our world today, with their influential tools in making and shaping public opinion. The joint book highlighted three axes, the first was on the mechanisms of social change and the role of social media in knowledge societies and the accreditation of academic elites on websites as a reliable source of research information and knowledge dissemination, the second was on the discourse of minorities on social media, their intellectual trends and their human needs and the third was on extremist organizations employ their discourse on social media and the role of their news websites in inciting violence and hatred.
