Biotechnology Research Center, University of Al-Nahrain organized a training course on animal cell culture. The course aimed at designing, detecting cytotoxicity experiments using MTT, how to isolate lymphocytes from blood by Lympho-prep methods and their importance in cancer experiments and cytogenetics. The course reviewed the principles of cell transplantation technology, how to preserve it, modern strategies in designing experiments and research to develop anti-cancer treatments, how to search and develop them in Iraq and take them out of the typical and local context into the global and regional context, as well as how to benefit from cancer and stem cells research. The course recommended organizing training programs in the cultivation of animal cells to familiarize the graduate students with the mechanisms and successful ways of working in their cultivation.
