Date Palm Research Center, University of Basrah organized an online symposium on microbial contamination of date palm tissues by the faculty member, Mrs. Ansam Mahdi Saleh. The online symposium aimed at reducing and control microbial contamination of date palm tissues via following international laboratory management protocols. The online symposium reviewed causes and sources of microbial contamination, as it is one of the obstacles to palm tissue cultivation, which causes great losses that lead to the loss of the entire tissue culture.
