A Ph.D. thesis was discussed in the College of Agriculture, University of Basrah on the effectiveness of some growth regulators in the accurate reproduction of date palm in the bioreactors system and their success in genetic matching and genetically modified technology by the postgraduate student, Mr. Ahmed Zayer Resan Al-Asadi. The thesis aimed at studying of the effect of adding some growth regulators to the nutritional medium on some physical, chemical and physiological characteristics of date palms that are abundant through tissue culture. The thesis reviewed the superiority of plants grown in liquid media via using the temporary immersion system in the physical, chemical, physiological and plant hormones content.
